Australian National Registry of Emissions Units Regulations 2011

Mungalla Aboriginal Tours is proud to support climate action through our Blue Carbon project, registered with the Clean Energy Regulator under the Australian National Registry of Emissions Units Regulations 2011.

Blue Carbon projects protect and restore coastal ecosystems such as wetlands and mangrove environments, helping to capture and store carbon while supporting biodiversity, marine habitats and healthy waterways.

This initiative reflects our commitment to practical climate solutions that combine environmental protection with Indigenous knowledge and stewardship.

Renewable Energy Investment

Solar Power & Battery Storage

As part of our commitment to reducing our environmental footprint, Mungalla Aboriginal Tours has invested in renewable energy infrastructure.

Our sustainable energy system includes:

  • 45.76kW solar system
  • 80kWh battery storage capacity

This investment helps reduce reliance on traditional energy sources, improve energy efficiency and support a cleaner future for our tourism operations.

Recycling & Community Partnerships

Container for Change

Mungalla Aboriginal Tours supports responsible waste management and recycling initiatives through partnerships such as the Container for Change program.

Through recycling and resource recovery, we encourage visitors, staff and our community to reduce waste and contribute to a more sustainable future.

Our goal is to continually improve our environmental practices while encouraging visitors to make positive choices during their journey with us.
